The Guild Motto – “Whose we are and Whom we serve”
The Guild offer a varied syllabus which includes the Guild Project, speakers whose topics relate to the Guild theme, demonstrations, and other practical activities. The Guild also supports many charitable organisations through fund raising events. New members are always made welcome.
Last year the Guild celebrated 130 years since its inception, and we at Christ’s Kirk are looking forward to the new session, which began on 8th October 2018.
The Guild provides a place for fellowship, worship and shared interest and we look forward to welcoming old and new members to any/all of the following meetings.
Christ’s Kirk Guild meets every second Monday at 2pm between October and April. This year the Guild has its usual varied programme of Speakers with topics ranging from Burns and Bonnie Prince Charlie to talks about the six new projects for the Guild to support during the next three years. As well as a speaker, the meetings conclude with a welcome cup of tea which gives everyone an opportunity to spend time together in fellowship.
The strategy for the next three years is “One Journey, Many Roads” The theme for 2018-2019 is “Seeking the Way”
The Opening Meeting of the new session was held on 8th October, 2018 with a good attendance of returning Guild members and new faces too.
Please note: This year there is a special offer of free membership for new members.
